About our products
What are the plaster pieces made from?
Our plaster creations are made using Plaster of Paris and are carefully prepared and dried before being packaged.
Are the paints included?
Yes! Our paint packs and selected craft kits include non-toxic acrylic or poster paint and the required painting accessories.
What age are your products suitable for?
Our plaster painting kits are recommended for children aged 6 years and over. Adult supervision is required.
Are your products suitable for younger children?
Our products contain small parts and plaster pieces that can break if dropped. They are not suitable for children under 3 years (36 months). Please check the age recommendation and safety information for each product before use.
Painting & crafting
Do I need anything else to paint my plaster pieces?
Our paint packs are designed to include the main supplies you need to get started. Check the individual product listing for exactly what is included.
Can I use my own paint?
Yes. You can use other suitable paints if you wish, although the paints supplied with our kits are selected specifically for use with our products.
Will the paint stain?
Acrylic paint can permanently stain clothing and some surfaces. We recommend wearing a smock or old clothes and covering your work surface before painting. Clean up spills and paint marks before they dry.
Can I wash the plaster pieces?
Plaster is porous and should not be soaked or submerged in water. Keep finished pieces dry and handle them with care.
Games
What is included in the Stable Showdown game?
Stable Showdown includes handmade plaster game pieces, paint and brushes so you can paint your pieces before playing. The back of the drawstring bag is used as the game board.
Do I need to paint the pieces before playing?
That’s part of the fun! Paint your pieces and allow them to dry before starting your game.
Can I keep the pieces in the bag after playing?
Yes. Once your plaster pieces are completely dry, they can be stored in the included drawstring bag.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes! Hills Made Creations offers Australia-wide shipping.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup is available from Strathalbyn, South Australia.
How long does my order take to be prepared?
Our usual preparation time is approximately 3–5 days, depending on the product and current order volume.
Can I order something that isn’t currently listed?
If you’re looking for a particular plaster shape, pack or custom order, get in touch and we’ll see what we can create for you.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible if your order arrives damaged. Take photos of the damaged item and packaging and send them to us so we can assess the issue and work with you on a suitable solution.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Our returns and exchanges are subject to our Terms & Conditions. If you have an issue with your order, please contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.
