1. About Hills Made Creations

Hills Made Creations is a small mother and daughter business based in Strathalbyn, South Australia.

We create handmade plaster craft kits, games, party favours and thoughtful little gifts. Each item is made, packed and prepared by us with care.

2. Handmade Products

Our plaster pieces are handmade, so each piece may have small variations in shape, texture, colour and finish.

Every piece is handmade with care, so small variations and imperfections may occur.

These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and are not necessarily considered faults.

Product photographs are provided as a guide. The finished product may vary slightly from photographs shown on the website.

3. Product Safety

Our products may contain plaster pieces, paint, brushes and other small components.

Please read and follow the safety information supplied with your product before use.

Where a product is intended for children, the recommended age and supervision requirements shown on the product packaging or information sheet should be followed.

Some products contain small parts that may present a choking hazard. Plaster pieces may also break if dropped or handled roughly.

Adult supervision is required where stated on the product.

Paint may stain clothing, furniture and other surfaces. We recommend protecting your workspace and clothing before painting.

Our products are intended for their stated purpose and should not be used in any way other than intended.

4. Product Descriptions

We take care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on our website are accurate.

However, handmade products may vary slightly from the images shown.

If there is an error in a product description or price, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available options before processing the affected order.

5. Orders

Orders are placed through our website.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

We will provide confirmation of your order after it has been received.

As our products are handmade and made to order, we may need additional time to prepare your order.

We reserve the right to contact you if there is an issue with your order, including product availability, incorrect pricing or information required to complete a personalised order.

6. Processing & Dispatch

Our products are handmade and prepared to order.

Please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be made and prepared for dispatch.

This timeframe is the time required to prepare your order and does not include postage or delivery time.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times are dependent on the postal or delivery service.

We will do our best to keep you informed of any significant delays that are within our knowledge or control.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We offer Australia-wide delivery.

Our current standard delivery charge is $10 Australia-wide, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Delivery timeframes can vary depending on your location and the postal service.

Once your order has been dispatched, Hills Made Creations is not responsible for delays caused by postal or delivery providers, severe weather, natural disasters or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please make sure your delivery address is correct when placing your order.

If an incorrect address is provided and the parcel needs to be resent, additional postage costs may apply.

8. Local Pickup – Strathalbyn

Free local pickup is available from Strathalbyn, South Australia 5255.

Pickup arrangements will be provided after your order has been placed.

Please wait until you have received confirmation that your order is ready before arriving to collect it.

9. Damaged Items

We take care when making and packaging every order.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.

Please provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging where possible. This helps us assess what has happened and work out the appropriate solution.

Where a product has been damaged during delivery or does not meet the guarantees required under Australian Consumer Law, we will work with you to provide the appropriate remedy.

10. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Guarantees

We want you to be happy with your purchase.

Australian Consumer Law provides consumers with certain automatic consumer guarantees when they purchase goods and services. These rights cannot be removed or restricted by our Terms & Conditions.

If a product has a problem covered by a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances.

We may need to assess the product before determining the appropriate remedy.

Change of mind

If you simply change your mind about a purchase, decide you no longer want the item, or purchase the wrong product, you are not automatically entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer Law.

Any change-of-mind return or exchange will be considered at our discretion and may be subject to the condition of the product and whether the order has already been made or dispatched.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Custom & Personalised Orders

Some of our products may include personalised options.

Customers are responsible for checking that all names, wording and other information supplied to us are correct.

Where a personalised item has been made according to the information supplied by the customer, changes requested due to an error in the information supplied by the customer may incur additional costs.

This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Payment

Payment must be completed through the payment options available at checkout before an order is processed, unless otherwise agreed by Hills Made Creations.

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars.

Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where there has been a genuine pricing or listing error.

13. Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@hillsmadecreations.com.au.

Because our products are handmade and may be prepared specifically for your order, cancellation may not be possible once preparation or production has commenced.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Hills Made Creations website, including our logo, photographs, product designs, written content, graphics and branding, belongs to Hills Made Creations or is used with permission.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used commercially without our written permission.

We aim to keep our website information accurate and up to date.

However, information such as product availability, pricing, photographs and descriptions may change from time to time.

We reserve the right to update or remove products from our website without notice.

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
